In part two of Charleston Moves’ transportation lecture series, you’ll have the opportunity to learn from local experts about the many ways that equitable multi-modal transportation underpins the major issues facing Charleston. You’ll dive into the role of equity in transportation, specifically as it relates to affordable housing, job security, gentrification, human-scaled urban planning, and green space. The esteemed panel of experts includes our Branch President, Dot Scott; Melissa Maddox-Evans of the City of Charleston, SC Government’s Housing Authority; Vince Graham of Loci South; and Erin Stevens of Surculus. You’ll hear short presentations by each speaker, followed by a panel Q & A.
